Bosun™
The Bosun™ monitoring system is intended for 35 foot and larger power and sail yachts and commercial vessels. The Bosun™ incorporates monitoring, logging, alarming and a multi-path notifying solution into one complete package. The standard Bosun™ includes eight universal inputs and two relay outputs.
Bosun™ Highlights

SLIPMINDER
The Slip Minder™ system is intended for marina operator's use. Slip Minder™ has all of the monitoring and controlling capabilities of a Bosun™ fully expanded for multiple monitors to function in a slave master configuration. Slip Minder™ will keep you informed of the status in your marina and the yachts moored there. Marina operators will improve the service value to tenants and control overhead costs by installing a Slip Minder™ System.
Slip Minder™ capabilities
- Can monitor every yacht in the marina with a Bosun™ system installed and the entire physical plant of the marina.
- Alarm condition on any yachts will instantly notify marina staff and an IP camera will automatically display the yacht slip location.
- Monitor access to piers or any other security door

- Pump-out station equipment
- Portable sensor package for yachts without Bosun™ systems (Unauthorized yacht movement, smoke/fire and high bilge level)

STANDALONE SENSORS
Some yacht owners may want specific systems monitored without the full functionality of a web enabled monitoring system. YMS can install individual system sensors without a central monitoring system. At a future date additional sensors and the Bosun™ monitor can be installed.

SYSTEM CONNECTIVITY
The Bosun™ and Slip Minder™ systems require an established path to the internet and an Internet Protocol (IP) address to allow remote access. YMS can set up your monitor to function on any path you choose. The most common forms of connection are:
- Marina or other commercial provider WiFi wireless network (Hot Spot)
- Commercial Cellular provider data plan using PCMCIA card
- Hard wire phone line from your slip
